i mean where i reside for now i am out of status

and my interview is approaching.my question is as an overstayer

can i attend the interview or not

No, not in UK, you have no authority to be there so the interview cannot take place there. Have the petition forwarded to Lagos by contacting the necessary consulates.

Hello fellow VJs.i just need to know if an over-stayer in the UK is eligible to apply for a fiancee visa to the US.A legal advice is needed.As at when my petition was approved i was on status but when my case number came out my status was over.

To enter the embassy for an interview you will need to show current valid resident status at the place the interview takes place. If you will have a valid visa that allows you to reside in the UK on the day of the interview you can interview in the UK. Otherwise they will send the petition back for lack of jurisdiction. The UK embassy only has the right to interview legal UK residents.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
