hi everybody

yesterday my wife has called me to let me know that she has betrayed me two weeks ago , she slept with another man.she need me to forgive her saying that she had to told about it because she could not hide it from me and live with me; she will feel guilty. rigth now our petition is on the 6th month and i asked her to cancel it. i am not sure that i could forgive her and to forget about this. so i want to know what could be the consequences for a futur request of visa like B2 just for visiting or buziness visa for USA. i asked her to tell them the true so that they will not think that i tried to used her to enter usa. thanks

Damn man tough spot. wither you hang in there and try your best to reconcile. forgiveness can come later. But you need to finish your process to ensure that later you can change to B2 if you cant hang in there you need to get in touch with them yourself and see what rights you have i know someone has the information. If I were you as hard as it makes hurt and my stomach turn i would hang in there. if you can she is guilty and she was honest and she is willing to countinue then it means something. then there is no reason for you to stay in the country now so you will probrably have to got back. what is more important to you? your job or fixing what was broken? can you live with goign back home and not having a chance to come back? I would wait till I had the power to make a decsion, right now you dont have to much power. i dont think her cheating counstitutes marriage fraud but it will be hard to pass an interview after what you have been through. Call the USCIS or whoever is handiling your petiton and ask them your rights. Iam sorry again for what happened form one man to another But its best that she told you trust me.

Um...What rights as a beneficiary with a pending immigrant petition have? He in fact has no rights to come to the US

Oh and he doesn't need to finish the Cr-1 process to ... how did you put it..."ensure that later you can change it to a B2"? Nothing ensures a B2, especially not a completed immigrant petition

OP - this is really difficult, I am sorry. If you have the I130 withdrawn I suggest to make sure it is cancelled 'without prejudice' meaning it should not affect a B2 attempt later. If you do need a B2 in the future, I suggest that when you apply you have very strong evidences and ties to your country

Good luck

thanks man for your reply but truly i could not hand this. She has been honest i admit but i prefer to stop. I will call uscis like you advice and see what i have to do to cancel the petition and prevent futur ban. i am not sure i will request any spouse visa. No need to experience distant love again. I am asking for visiting usa or buziness trip.
