Dear Sir, Could u plz advise me if my Name appears " A. J. M. Firoz Alam" while applying for I-130(F-4 benificiary) category then will it be problem? Am I required to elaborate my name while applying? my name " A. J. M. Firoz Asfaq" appears in all of my certificates(Birth, Education, Marriage)..So elaborating name may cause indiscrepency with my certificates. If this is allowed by USCIS, then what should be my first, suname and middile? Plz advise me..

My 2 cents, as all your documents are as A. J. M. Firoz Alam (or Ashfaq), keep it the way it is. My fathers name is Md. as a short for Muhammad in all his papers, as such his first name is now Md. Same way I believe your first name would remain as AJM. In case you want to Expand the name I would suggest you to do it later. If there is an issue USCIS will contact you to define it for them. Otherwise your application should match all supporting documents.

Please keep in min this is just my opinion and there could be specific rule with USICS that I may not know or awae of and may be someone else may shed better light on it.
