Dawn does it say 'no signal'? Mohammed called me at work and said 'our tv says no signal on it' OK honey from my desk, let me fix it for you.....

I called Dish and they said to power cycle it just like a computer modem. Push and hold the power button on the receiver. If that doesn't work, unplug the cords in back and plug back in. He did that and it worked! So worth a try.

I have the day off! NO WORK! Yea for me :D Hope you all have a great day.

Jackie

I messed up his signal, too, oh my

I hope our probs are different. I actually cut the cables outside to fit them through a diff hole in the brick wall(which I drilled!!!!)and attached cable connection ends and hooked it all back up to a new plate I installed. I can only blame myself for this and I didn't want anyone to mess it up more so I had to figure out what went wrong. It looked perfect, but no signal from either dish. It was frustrating to un-do and re-do it all to see it still not work. I cut those ends off and attached a different kind of connectors and yay!! signals. It is all hooked up and pretty perfect now so I am happy, but earlier I was pretty upset about what I got myself into. what ever, its over and ok now.

So you do repair work from your desk, thats awesome. From anywhere I learned how to figure out his location and direction and to get him un-lost. These are neat skills we are picking up.

Tomorrow I am playing golf with my Dad (shut up Jenn) and then spending the afternoon/evening with Hicham since he doesn't work tomorrow night yay. I don't think I'll be around much this weekend but I hope everyone has a good one and be careful!

Kissies,

Sarah

How'd the golf go, Sarah? Did you wear plaid pants? JK! :D

I'm getting ready to buckle down and do some studying. Yuck. Today we ran some errands and I got myself two new pairs of shoes.

LMAO ..ye guys are werid like that...hmm maybe he thinks you can fix the TV by telepathy... Enjoy your weekend Jackie!

What is it with TV's today? Ours just shows nothing but snow, and I knew I would have too get a new antenna since mine is like 30 years old! I also needed him to put on some new connections. When the hubby asked how much it cost he flipped. I didn't think it was that bad, it was $234.00. Anyway, wait until he gets here and sees how much more it costs to live here.

So after the tv repair guy I did the artificial lack of intelligence to my hair, and it looks pretty darn good. Now I am going to go to the store to spend even more money...lol

I hope the weekend goes slow and the weeks go fast (except you Noura, I hope the 5th gets over with real fast for you, good luck).

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'
