Hi guys,

I just received NOA letter for my I-751 application.

My conditional Green Card will expire on 03/10/2012, and I know that my conditional resident status is extended for one year since I received NOA.

But the letter also says "this extension and authorization for employment and travel does not apply to you if your conditional resident status has been terminated."

I'm planning to travel in May, and will need to apply for visas. So my question is, during this one year, how would I prove my status is NOT terminated if any visa officer asks?

Thanks a lot!

you can find out by calling into the USCIS call center, getting a Tier 2 Human, an ISO, and inquire with them.

At least you'd find out.

Do you mean something 'more strong' such as a letter from USCIS that you've NOT been terminated on your current green card? I've not heard of that type of letter, sorry.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Nothing to worry about. The CBP officer will slide your Green Card and will know this before you do. If you then see a few uniformed officers walking quickly toward you, you can be sure that your RoC petition was denied while you were vacationing in a country far, far away.

If you have any doubts that your RoC petition will be approved, don't travel while it's being adjudicated, simple as that.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

I'm not worried about my re-entry to the US. I'm worried that some visa officer might question my status in the US, so he/she won't issue me a visa (I've dealt with this kind of visa officers, if they doubt your status, they think you would over stay in their country...)

Yeah, I was wondering if there's hard copy "evidence". :)
