can we just sent the W2 for 3yrs n paystub for 6mos as a supporting docs of our AOS?

06-30-2011- I-130 filed (marked as our PD)

07-09-2011- NOA1

12-09-2011- I-130 Approved

01-09-2012- case number and IIN assigned, ds-3032 and AOS bill invoiced

01-09-2012- AOS paid online

01-10-2012- AOS fee PAID

01-15-2012- emailed DS-3032

01-19-2012- DS-3032 accepted

01-19-2012- IV fee invoiced

01-20-2012- IV fee paid online

01-24-2012- IV fee PAID

01-24-2012- mailed AOS form

01-25-2012- mailed DS230 (via fedex)

02-01-2012- RFE NBI and ds230 part 2 should be submitted

02-02-2012- RFE sent to NVC

02-10-2012-case completed INTERVIEW SCHEDULED (March 13,2012)

The following items must be submitted with Form I-864:

For ALL sponsors:

A copy of your individual Federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file.   Also include a copy of each and every Form 1099, Schedule, and any other evidence of reported income. You may submit this information for the most recent three tax years , pay stub(s) from the most recent six months, and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.

need help guys!

You HAVE to send tax information (either a tax transcript, which is ideal, OR a copy of a tax return as well as W2s).

Supporting documents for proof of current income: pay stubs and employment letter. Both are not required.

So, if you want to send W2s (instead of the preferred tax transcript), then you must include the 1040 (as well as any other forms you might have filled out). Pay stubs are just optional.

Please read the guides and look at the questions other people have already asked...people are reluctant to spend their time answering questions that have already been addressed in several places, especially when the same person is asking the same question repeatedly.

Maybe mods can merge these three topics posted by the same user?
