Well, for my medical in Toronto they asked for packet 3 or packet 4 because it has your case number and name on it. Do you have a similar letter from the Vancouver consulate or an e-mail with that information that you could print out?

you need your interview letter for sure. What is the thing you are confused about? (not being an ####, I am really asking.) Photo copy of passport interview letter, case number...vaccination records... Should have a list on the website for Woking. Very nice people over there as long as you're organized. It's kind of a zoo...

3. LETTER

Your are required to bring your letter with your name and case number.

Unfortunately, regulations prevent us from seeing you unless you present a letter with your name and case number.

Your letter must show T H E N A M E and T H E C A S E N U M B E R for E A C H A P P L I C A N T in your family.

For example, if your letter shows "John Smith", it cannot be used for "Mary Smith and Jane Smith" unless their names are on it.

Families can share one copy of the same letter as long as all names are clearly shown along with a case number.

i was confused bc of this. but since it says your letter it clears me up a little i think i was reading this when my son was awake i can't relly concentrate when i'm constantly telling my kid not to touch stuff :P and i'm still waiting for my case to close at nvc which has been taking a very long time

Yep, it's not recommended that you book your medical before you have your interview date. In the meantime make sure you and your son's vaccinations are all up to date, and if either of you have any conditions you should get a letter from your doctor.

You need the letter from the Vancouver consulate that gives you instructions for getting your Packet 3. The case number they want says VAC#######

Oh, CR1. Nevermind lol.
