I agree with the first part but not the 2nd. Obama can be beaten by anyone if the economy does not improve. If the economy does improve, he can be beaten by no one.

Sure, if the economy tanks in 2012, Obama stands little chance. But with Gingrich as an opponent, the economy doesn't actually need to improve beyond the trajectory it is on today. Gingrich will be taken apart in the summer and fall if he is the nominee. The baggage and the skeletons and the flip-flops and the ethics violations and the Washington insider and lobbyist stamps he has all over him. Good Lord, he's so beatable.

So you think there is baggage and skeletons and flip-flops that Romney has not revealed yet? He is holding back? Really? You mean if Newt gets the nomination, which means he wins all these other primaries, Romney will have held back on scandals? THEN Obama is going to pull the plug and release a flood of scandals we never heard about Newt when he was Speaker of the House, and in the campaign up to this point?

The election is going to come down to the economy. Just as it did in 1992 when a President tha had a 90% approval rating a year before the election lost to someone no one had heard of a year before the election. Imagining otherwise may make you feel good but it is not reality.

Basically there will be two questions people ask and answer to themselves in November

1. How do I feel about the economy

2. Which of these two guys is a better choice to...._______________________________

And that BLANK is the key. If that blank is filled in by "fix it" Obama loses in a landslide. If that blank is "continue the improvement" Obama wins.

Now it looks correct! Here is some information in case you were confused about the definition.

racist - a person with a prejudiced belief that one race is superior to others

realist - a person who accepts the world as it literally is and deals with it accordingly
