Hi all:

I've got my green card with SURNAME A(maiden name) .A year later ,I've re-newed my CDN password with SURNAME B(maiden name + hubbys last name).Pretty much all documents and IDs ,I've got has SURNAME B currently, except my green card.My CA Driver Licence is with SURNAME B as well.

1.Is this going to be a problem?

2.Should I put my SURNAME A or SURNAME B on the I-751 app.s?

Thnx

i would put my maiden and marry name on your 751 application. when you send in your 751 application with your evidence, as long as your evidence have both of your names including your maiden and marry name, you should have any problems. also, go to the uscis website and see if they have any links pertaining to this. you might want to renew your gc but you shouldn't have any problems. good luck

You can change your name on your green card now, if you want.

Just apply with your name B and somewhere there is a field to input the old name A.

Don't forget to change your name Social Security, but I guess you alredy did that to get your driver's license in name B.

We did that with my husband's name and it was no problem though he had to go through court for the name change.
