My fiance went for the interview in Islamabad on Jan-18-2012 . They asked him how many times your fiancee came to Pakistan and how long she stayed . He was confused and told them one time. But they had a copy of my passport which says I been to Pakistan twice. He forgot to answer this question. They kept his passport, police certificate and our engagement pictures.

I fill up the form by myself and forgot to notify him some answers that I gave for questions . I lost the copy of that form . That is why he was unable to answers some questions . They said you are making us confused . Told him we are not giving you visa . and said they will workout on that.

I really need help and want to know what step should I take know. He is very disappointed at me. Because it was my mistake . I am really looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thanks .

What's the status of his visa application? Has it been denied? Are they waiting for further evidence? Is he in administrative processing?

If the visa has been denied then there's not much you can do now except wait for the petition to be returned to USCIS. If USCIS closes the file then you can file again. If USCIS decides to revoke the approval of the petition then they send you a notice of intent. You'll have to respond with evidence to try to prevent them from revoking the approval.

It was a huge mistake not to send your fiance a copy of everything you submitted with the petition. Every piece of information on those forms is ammunition for them to use in order to trip him up during the interview so that they can deny him. It sounds like that's exactly what they did.

He's most likely under Admin Processing or commonly called 'AP'. If he didn't get a request for more evidence, then, the embassy will research the case and let you know if he's approved or not. Since he's a guy and Pakistani, I would recommend you search the forums and check out other Pakistanis who have gone through this (search on ' Islamabad AP Tracker') .

Majority of Pakistani men are being put on AP for further investigation. Not sure how long you will have to wait, though.

we cant give you much information, since you havent provided us with much information.

the more details you can provide, the more help you will get.

and one further comment, this is an example of why it is SO IMPORTANT to be sure that both the petitioner and beneficiary are well informed about the process and the 'details' of the relationship. obviously, this is 10x as important in high fraud countries. you must present a united front!
