AOS Not Touched since 8/01/11

Hello VJ

I filed PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT in July 2011 and USCIS received it July 29th 2011. I am a bit concerned because I have not received anything after the biometrics notice (biometrics done!). The last updated date online is 08/01/2011.

I checked the processing times and its at 6 months at VSC, it will be 6 months the 26th this month.

Should I be concerned?

Check out the ROC forum. You are filing for Removal of Conditions (ROC), not Adjustment of Status (AOS). The ROC form is here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/86-removing-conditions-on-residency-general-discussion/

VSC has been super slow, and I think May are starting to get approvals. You can check with other July filers there. Good luck!

Had no touch at all for the whole process myself. Many people have no touches on their case and just one day get the approval notice. You cant rely on the touches. There are lots of people having to wait 7-8 months for approval and a few people waiting even a year with no approval still. Just wait and see.

Moved from AOS to ROC as the OP is not filing AOS but removal of conditions. - if another mod could change the title so it is correct that would be great since i cant!

you can call, but they will tell you that they are working in april or may and that you have 8 weeks or so before you will hear anything. id sit tight and watch the may and june threads in this forum. it helps give you a sense of progress.

also, please post your info in the july filers thread. we'd love to have you!

noa1 date

biometrics date
