IV fee bill was received but can not paid online

My husband paid my AOS bill ($88) on Jan 10, 2012 and had status PAID on Jan 11 2012, but have not yet mailed the I-864 documents (will do so on Monday).We received the IV fee bill invoiced via email this morning and The NVC Invoice page shows the IV fee of $404 as "Not Paid" but when he click to select that fee to pay, he cannot get past that screen. Does this mean my IV bill has not yet been generated? Does the I-864 need to be received at NVC before the IV bill can be paid?

I'd be grateful for any help!

The IV payment should be generated within 2 days of paying the 864 fee. I would call NVC and ask why. But if you just got the IV bill to show up then it could take 2 days to get it to show avaiable to be paid. Keep checking a few times a day

The 864 papers do not have anything to do with generating the IV (DS-230) fee.

if you can see it available but not able to click it to pay it then it will be ready within 2 days so just keep checking

I checked 20 times a day and paid the moment it was available.

IV bill invoice is not linked to payment of AOS, it's linked to the acceptance of your Choice of Agent (261 or 3032 form). So you AOS fee might have been paid 2 days ago or 30 days ago, but your IV bill will only be invoiced after the Choice of Agent is in your case file. It took them a week to accept our choice of agent form, and now we're in the same position as you, IV bill says we can pay it, but the box to select it is greyed out. You can either wait for it to resolve itself on its own (which it seems to have done for other VJers this month) or call the reps if you're really concerned.

what i'm trying to say is, my husband received another IV fee bill ryt after we receieved the confirmation/acceptance regarding my DS 3032. but when he signed in to pay the IV fee he cannot able to pay it.

Give it a few more days. In my case when we got an email of IV bill being generated, I logged in right away to the computer and surprisingly, it was already ready for payment! Goodluck!

very nice wishfull! we have almost same processed date, i-130 filed on june 30, 2011 and was approved on dec 9,2011...we are now on same step.
