Does anybody have any updated information on how long VSC takes after receiving RFE papers?

Generally, the letter will indicate 60 to 90 days. This is not always what happens. If you supply the information to meet the RFE you should have your NOA2 within 2 to 3 weeks. That is more Normal. In Extreme circustances they can can take as long as they want. And it sometimes happens.

Most cases for a RFE are good news and a simple answer or document.

Good luck. Should be fine but answer timely. Immediate if not sooner.

Thanks for the reply. Letter did say may take up to 60 days but at minimum of 2 weeks. I am hoping for the 2 weeks. I am pleased to at least get an RFE to know that they did review the paperwork. I wish there would have been a way that I could have sent the paperwork in months ago to avoid this delay as I knew I had forgotten to send the paperwork. Thanks again.

Don't know if this helps, mine was at the California Service Center, Alla had spelled her ex-husband's name one way on the petition and the translation company spelled it another, so I just wrote an explanation and sent it back. It was then approved in 2 days from the date they received it.

Thanks for the info. It has been about a week since they received it. Will they send me an email that they have made a decision and have sent my NOA2?
