Why oh no :). Overall this will be a minor upgrade but with a range of usability improvements. The basic look and feel of the site will remain the same :).

what's a signature?

see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=members&area=aboutme

put something there? it shows up in each of yer posts, similar in usage to a signature file from ages past.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well let's see what's up with Empress o Groovy's Glammed Up Glitter Porn.

That signature is the only blinged out over-sized one I don't mind and even find enjoyable. I wish there could be special separate rules just for Joyce.

This really is an issue of courtesy and consideration for fellow VJ members.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

At the last moderator's meeting we did set a limit on signature size. Formerly the site used to limit the size by its requirements but the most recent update removed that limitation. We have received a number of complaints from individuals who do not have fast computers that their systems freeze up with large signature posts and it is hard for them to avoid them except by turning off the signature function. So, Captain Ewok has set a limit of no more than half of a screen size can be taken up by a signature. Any signatures larger than that need to be reduced, either in size or by removing elements. We also have limited the inclusion of YouTube videos to no more than one YouTube video in a signature as well.

This really is an issue of courtesy and consideration for fellow VJ members. Not everyone has access to a computer system that can handle the large amount of data contained in big signatures, so we do request everyone to keep this in mind when they create their signatures. If a signature is too big, we will contact the member , ask them to reduce the size of their signature and give them a time frame in which to do it. Most people comply, although there have been a few cases where Captain Ewok has had to step in and make the necessary corrections.

I heard that women prefered men with a big....signature.rofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gif

Getting more RAM for your TRS-80 server, are you? rofl.gifrofl.gifrofl.gif While you are busy reducing signature size, you could do the honorable thing and increase the number of hearts, some folks are owed more than a few. mad.gif

Instead of putting a new coat of paint on a rotting building, maybe you should fix the underlying problems before you worry about aesthetics.

I wouldn't want you to put out any semblance of sympathy, compassion or understanding. That's just not you, AJ. No need to maintain to any pretense.
