Marriage while Incarcerated and IR1 processing...

My husband and I were married while he was in immigration detention (with VD under safeguards). Our atty, I assume, submitted many supportive documents of a bonafide marriage (including our daughter's birth letter, our apt lease, our bank account, bills, pictures, etc).... is it pretty much 100% that our case will take longer than the norm since we were married while he was in proceedings or...??

Your situation is very similar to mine, from what I have read it takes about the same time if everthing is clear with USCIS; it doesn't matter if you are married. The problem is the process documents take from one end to the other.

Where is he now? Why was he being deported? If he is abroad now, the process from filing to interview will take the same time as any other, but he will likely need a waiver for his immigration issues, which needs to be submited after the visa is denied.
