My RFE was we needed more evidence of us meeting in the past 2 years. Common RFE's are that you forgot to fill something out, you missed a form or you forgot a page. They could ask for a number of things but these are the most common i've seen.

Well I have gotten a RFE notice via text and email today.I'm waiting for the hard copy to find out what they need.I was just wondering what is the norm they may ask for?A little insight would be nice.

Thanks,

They ask for what you did not send the first time. Varies. Trying to guess is pretty futile but if you go through the copy of the package you sent them and check it against the instructions you may be able to determine what you forgot.

As Alla said, finding out is impossible until you get the hard copy--I tried, even when mine was lost in the mail. After 14 days all they would do was re mail it :(. The good news is mine was simple, My Alla had spelled her ex-husband's name one way on the petition and the translation company spelled it another, so I just wrote an explanation and sent it back. It was then approved in 2 days.
