I might have found someone to make the affidavit of support for my husb, but they guy seems to be wanting it done from a lawyer. now i am wondering ....i am assuming to protect himself ?? I have no problem doing that but dont know any lawyers and hope a cheap regular one will be ok.

anyone know of any thing like this??

can u private msg me plz if you have any suggestions to help .

i also have a friend who drives taxi that might be able to qualify am not sure yet, but the two previous years he was on unemployment and barely made anything. will that matter if this year he qualifies?? i saw they do ask for the total of each of the previous 2 yrs on the papers.

married 2006 in jordan *we both live there

2008 had twins *delivered in usa and back to jordan with hubby*

2-2011 i came back to usa with my 3 yr old twins due to one of them needing treatment for severe sleep apnea

7-4-2012 filed I-130

12-?-2012 i-130 approved. (saw online, still waiting hard copy)

1-16-2012 called NVC they have appointed case number

1-19-2012 received email for DS-3032 to hubby

1-19-2012 mailed Ds-3032 from hubbys email

1-19-2012 received automatic response from NVC *received*

1-23-2012 received email stating DS-3032 was accepted. :)

3-07-2012 Paid AOS & IV fee online

3-09-2012 AOS & IV fee shows "PAID"

Do you know this guy well? When he reads the i-864, he might back out! It is a commitment for 10 years plus he has to give out all his financials.

You only need last year of tax transcript, but do have to list income for last 3 years.

A lawyer isn't going to protect your co-sponsor. You or your husband will have to mail it to NVC.

11/21/2011 - Called NVC for AOS bill and DS-3032

11/21/2011 - Paid AOS Bill

11/21/2011 - EP request and DS-3032 to NVC

11/23/2011 - EP came and DS-3032 accepted

11/23/2011 - Submit I-864

11/28/2011 - Paid IV Bill

11/29/2011 - Submit DS-230

12/05/2011 - Case completed

12/08/2011 - Interview date set

12/11/2011 - Medical exam

01/11/2011 - Document intake day

01/12/2012 - Interview - Approved

03/09/2012 - POE - LAX

1. a lawyer cannot change the wording of the I-864, it's simply not done.

2. a lawyer can review the document, tell the fella what's what.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
