ok let me give some facts..

im a usa citzen

hubs in jordan

file i-130 was approved , got NOA 1 , since then been calling NVC a couple of weeks to get our invoice number or file number, or whatever they call it. I GOT IT today.

now i asked her for the paper my husband needs to send to say that he wants me to handle the papers and pay and things from here in usa.

she says nope i cant do anything now i need to just wait for the paper from them and that my file just became active today.

is that right or should i be doing something besides sitting on my behind??

Email them the form in the morning. If they do not accept it you can email it the next day. Then

your online bills will start to show up

AOS 864 bill 88 dollars-pay it

next day print cover sheet and send it

same day pay IV ds-230 fee 404 dollars

next day print cover sheet and send package

or send both packages when both fees are paid on the online portal

Do not listen to the operator. she will slow you down

ok i will do that. now is there somewhere i can download the thing i need to send them saying my husb wants me to do everything from here? will it matter if i email it? as apposed to him emailing from jordan?? or should i use his email to mail it? they did ask me for his email address today when i talked to the operator.

ok i have another question... when my bills online show up... should i pay them right away even if i need say another few weeks or month to send the papers i am paying for?? will it take time after i pay for them to recognize it?? and how long do they allow me??

i am still working on the affidavit of support and have one or two possibilitys but that is not done yet. and still not positive that will work out, i might have to get someone else to do it.

DS-3032 is to tell them you will receive everything for your husband. http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf

You can e-mail that in to NVC now. Either one of you can e-mail it in.

Pay the bills online anytime after you receive them. It takes a day or two to show PAID. Then you print cover sheet to mail with your packets.

You still need to fill out i-864 if you get co-sponsor. Ask them right now. Call or mail IRS and ask for tax transcripts for last 3 years (http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=232168,00.html). Transcripts are better because you don't need to attache W-2s. Work on the DS-320 packet at the same time. DS-320 takes much more time with more evidence.
