Gotta thank the libs like the ones in California and DC for turning this country into a third world ####### hole all for a few more votes.

Sheila jackson-lee out of Houston was a big 'visually there' US REP at that celebration. I knew the world went to sh|t that day, after watching her speech.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

There is no proposal of an amnesty out there anywhere. The Republican Cowboy Actor Ronald Reagan was the last one who pushed this through Congress and it didn't work, now, did it?

S.1258 Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2011

(Senate bill sponsored by Menendez)

"[s. 1258] includes the creation of Lawful Prospective Immigration (LPI) status. Applicants for LPI status would be required to submit biometric data, go through security checks and pay a fine. After six to eight years of LPI status, undocumented immigrants could transition to Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) status after they pay taxes and additional fines, learn English and U.S. civics, and undergo additional background checks." According to S. 1258, "An alien may not be granted lawful prospective immigrant status ... unless the alien ... was physically present in the United States before June 1, 2011." Well, this negates the argument that it is all about votes. Following this, there would be no additional votes to be had for a decade plus out.

If you get between Queen Sheila Jackson-"Me" and a television camera, your life is distinctly in danger. Edited by TBoneTX

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

You are right, but keep this in mind. Current Mexican-American(I can't stand hyphens) population in United States is slightly over 10%. Majority of those people believe the first loyalty of US citizens of Mexican descent should be Mexico.(http://www.cis.org/ZogbyPoll-EffectsOfAmnesty)

Mexican presidents have a history of proclaiming 'Mexico is wherever a Mexican is'. Recent example is that of Mexican president Calderon when he said in his state of the union address; "I have said that Mexico does not stop at its border, that wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico. And, for this reason, the government action on behalf of our countrymen is guided by principles, for the defense and protection of their rights."(http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/09/04/Dobbs.Sept5/index.html)

Also that pendejo Calderon had nerves protesting Arizona immigration law and going all the way to Obama about it. What, USA can't enact it's own laws and has to consult with a foreign president about it? Unfortunately in this day and age answer is- YES.

Using Census Bureau figures of a net of 1.25 million legal and illegal immigrants entering and staying in the United States every year, projects a population of 486 million by 2060. Some 105 million of those will be immigrants and their children. How many of those will be loyal to Star-Spangled Banner? Old Romans had this saying 'Divide et impera', I wonder how divided USA is going to be in 2060.

So my answer is: Deport them, all of them. I don't care how much it costs. Put 30000 troops on our borders with Mexico, let no one, ever, enters US illegally and lives to tell the tale.

I know most of you reading this think it's too harsh, yet most of you wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger if somebody was violating sanctity of your home.

We are fighting so many ridiculous battles all over the world and our biggest enemy after China is just south of our border.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
