Hello everyone!

I have a question regarding to proof of relationship for those who had their interview in Montreal.

How much they look at your photos ?

Did they really ask for pictures and asked questions about meeting family etc?

Is is very important to have friends in our pictures?

I`m asking that, cause my fiance hasn't met my family in Brazil yet, cause I live in Toronto. They`ve only exchanged letters.

Hope to get some hints and ideas about important proof of relationship. Thank you!

You do NOT have to have pictures where him and your family met, just pictures of you two are enough. If in your case they only exchanged letters then that's the proof you got and they'll accept it. K-1 visa has no requirements of families meeting. Bottom line, it's not important.

I cannot quite answer for someone from Brazil interviewing in Montreal, but as someone who resides in Canada your situation is the similar to anyone else's in the Cdn forum. The person above is correct that they are looking for proof of your relationship, not one you or he have with eachother's families. Pictures aren't necessarily the best evidence anyway, but it's nice to have a few photos together. Cdns can easily cross the border to visit their US honeys easily so we have frequent trips and proof such as plane tickets, receipts etc....

Folks send in the evidence and bring the originals with them to the interview, Very few, if any, of us have been asked to provide the originals of our 'proof of relationship'. The interview is 5-10 minutes tops and centers around how you met, what will you be doing once you move, where will you be living etc..... Your fiancé should of course no important things like (for example) you father died when you were 10 or something big like that, otherwise I wouldn't worry too much
