Hi everyone, back with more silly questions

I just checked the London Embassy website (no email notification from NVC yet so I'm trying to pass the time) and on the I864 page http://london.usembassy.gov/i864.html I read the following;

"What about the fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen who is applying for a fiancé(e) visa?

An I-864 is not required when applying for a fiancé(e) visa. An I-864 will be required at the time the fiancé(e) visa holder applies to adjust his or her status from nonimmigrant to conditional resident with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services(USCIS)."

Now does this mean that we don't have to supply the Affidavit to the Embassy and that we wait until AOS or am I mis-reading?

You will not fill out an I-864 when you apply for a fiance visa i.e. K-1 visa. However, you will need to have filled out I-134 for the visa and while applying for AOS, you will need to fill out I-864.
