Hello everyone,

We had our interview yesterday and afterwards were given a sheet that said she requested approval. Then yesterday our status online shows

On January 17, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

So I suppose we are now approved...thanks to everyone for all your help, this site was essential in navigating the process by ourselves. So thanks again, and good luck to everyone still trying to get through this thing....

10-4-2010: Married in NYC

10-17-2011: Sent in I-130, I-485 Packets

10-21-2011: Package received by USCIS

10-28-2011: Received I-797 forms for I-130, I-485, I-765

11-9-2011: RFE received for missing medical exam

11-22-2011: Biometrics

11-28-2011: Civil Surgeon medical exam

11-30-2011: Sent medical exam for RFE

12-5-2011: RFE received by USCIS; Case sent to NBC

12-15-2011: Interview set for 1-17-2012

12-28-2011: EAD card received

1-17-2012: Interview at NBC- Approved!

12/20/2011 - received text/email notifications for I-485, I-765, I-131 & I-130
12/21/2011 - touched I-485, I-130, I-131, I-765
01/05/2012 - change of address to PO Box since we seemed to not be getting the letters
01/11/2012 - hard copies of NOA for I-131, I-765 and I-131 (FINALLY)
01/24/2012 - biometrics letter for I-485 and -I765 in mail, appointment 02/02/2012
01/31/2012 - successful walk-in biometrics
03/06/2012 - EAD and AP approved, card production ordered
03/09/2012 - second notification about EAD card production
03/12/2012 - notifications about EAD being mailed and USPS picking it up
03/14/2012 - EAD/AP combo card in hand, email notification about interview appointment
03/19/2012 - Interview letter in hand, appointment for 4/19 in Denver
04/19/2012 - Interview date: APPROVED!!
04/28/2012 - GREEN CARD in hand! :-)

1/31/2014 - USPS delivery confirmation

2/10/2014 - received biometrics appointment letter for 2/26/14

It was strange, she didn't seem to even ask us too many questions. We went in with about 4 inches thickness worth of photos and documents. We just started showing her things, like leases, utility bills, and photos. She asked about me traveling overseas, she asked us all of the questions from the 485/130 forms again, and that was mainly it.
