When you go for your AOS interview will the immigration officer have all the copies of documents you sent in your package or will it be only the forms?

They should but sometimes they don't. You should bring the originals of everything with you and bringing copies they can keep as well isn't a bad idea.

I second this.

They should have everything but things can get misplaced or lost so I brought the originals as well as copies just in case. It even says you should do that on the IL if I remember correctly.

They had all the documents we sent in, but still were interested in seeing more. I would bring originals and also copies.

I have a question. do my husband and i need to bring our birth certificates to the interview? my husband was not born here. should he just bring the naturalization certificate?

You should always bring both birth certificates. Our interviewing agent did ask for ours and wanted to see the originals.

Definitely bring originals, plus a copy of everything. My dad's file was missing the I-130 approval letter even though we sent it in with the AOS packet, but we had the original at the interview, which she kept, and let us keep the copy. And they'll need birth certificate originals and copies, regardless of where you were born.
