Really??? you made my card on Dec 28th and I still don't have it?? anyone else being driven to insanity waiting for EAD?

05/11/2009 - Applied to remove restrictions on my SS Card
05/18/2009 - Received unrestricted SS card
10/13/2009 - My darling husband of 2 yrs 5 months 3 weeks 3 days passed away :(

They do not tell you when they "made your card" They tell you when "production was ordered" Not the same thing. Card production is sometimes delayed, sometimes for several weeks. Why? I have not a clue. But it happens.

It is an unreasonable expectation to think that "production ordered" means they made you card that day and put it in an envelope, still hot from the laminating machine and mailed it to you before the last mail call at 5pm.

Congratulations on having your card approved. FWIW Alla got her green card before she got her EAD. Oh well, it happens

haha of course I don't think that, but it has been almost a month since that notification, and my frustration is based on my fellow OCt filers timelines. :) God I hope a GC shows up instead. that would be amazing! thank u! :) on hold with USCIS right now...
