Did VSC slow down?

I don't think so. We just received our email NOA2 approval on 1/17/12. It said we were approved on 1/13/12 and a hard copy is in the mail. We were happily surprised! We didn't think we would hear anything for 5-6 months. We got our NOA1 10/21/12......it was sent 10/15/12. So for us we received NOA2 from the VSC in about 2.5 months!.......wow. Good luck to all those waiting!

Were there any special circumstances in your case?

Did you live in Thailand when filing originally? Or did you have any reasons for expedite?

I'm just asking here cause we just filed our, and I'm NOT looking forward to the next 5 - 6 months..

I don't think so. Just because there hasn't be timeline updates here on VJ doesn't mean they slow down.

They are still pretty far ahead of CSC, you should be happy to get VSC!

Not sure about slowing down, but their latest 'processing time' update posted: January 25 is definitely a inaccurate. They are NOT meeting their 5 month processing goal for I-129f for K-1's. Next week my fiance and myself will hit 6 months, and I know of some other couples that are also approaching or just passed their 6 month mark. I'm thinking it's time for me to ping my senator.
