Guys! This is normal seasonal cycle. I see this every year. If you file in February/March - wait is the shortest - about 2-3 months to NOA2. If you file July-August-September - wait is the longest - 5-6 months, which is normal, and it is EVERY YEAR. The reason is that most people apply for I129F in July/August/September for one or another reason (maybe, falling in love in Spring or something). USCIS cannot hire more people just to process July/August/September, so be patient. NOAS2 will be coming soon!

We sent our I-129F this morning. It will be there tomorrow by 10:30AM! I hope you're right! :)

I turned in my I-129F in early December and my NOA2 estimate is end of May and it keeps pushing back further each week.

I know the average is 5 months but in my case it's almost 6 months. Is this normal?

I believe they are working on August filers. I'm wondering are others getting similar estimate for the NOA2?

thanks

Welcome to the party !!!! Pass the popcorn!

Next, we are going to watch grass grow!

Sit back and relax, this is government bureaucracy at its best!

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

I filed the first week of October 2011 and because of work circumstances I AM HOPING FOR A 6 or 7 MONTHS WAIT for our NOA 2!

Go figure!

Yes we love each other as deeply as anyone on this forum - Maybe I am just wired a bit different than most, or perhaps my expectation with any government agency is different than most, or my general mindset is modest and relaxed by nature.

Yes, I have seen people in here with 3-4 months wait for their NOA2 and I say to myself "how lucky they are".

I guess workload in December is more since more workers take longer vacation during the holidays.

What to do in the long 5, 6 months? lol Plan to make another trip back and then I'm out of vacation. :(

Thanks for sharing your experience and info.

Wish everyone a Happy and Smooth Journey!

Just a minor correction, the seasonal swing is not because more people apply for I129F in July/August/September. The number of new applications is pretty steady about ~ 2000 new applications each month.

The major factor for seasonal swing in processing time is due to the resources and manpower each USCIS service center put on each visa category. smile.gif

If you are waiting for NOA2 from CSC, you might wanna read my post here http://www.visajourn...15#entry5109938

It might make you feel better while waiting smile.gif
