Hi guys,

I just want to say thankyou for all the help I got when I raised my initial questions about our I-129F. Our forms have now been posted and are on there way!

We are now looking into pre-planning everything we will need for the future,it is a necessity for us as we both have work and familial commitments which will take us out of our home states/ countries during our K1 process.

I am the beneficiary. I know I need:

1) My vaccination records

2) A police check

3) Proof of relationship , IE/ phone records, emails, ticket stubs from events.

My questions are:

How do I know which police check I need, we can get 2 in Aus, is it best just to get the most comprehensive one?

If I do not have my vaccination record, what vaccinations will I need to get?

What else can I prepare now? IE/ What else will I need?

Also, what will my fiance need? He is the petitioner. We know he needs:

1) Tax statements for the last 3 years.

2) Confirmation of his work status and income

3) Proof of relationship , IE/ phone records, emails, ticket stubs from events.

What else can he prepare now? IE/ What else will he need?

** Please note, I did look through these forums and search online for an answer to my query and did not find it**

I think if this were moved to the Australia forum you would get more accurate replies as many things are country specific.

OH, and if you're not sure what vaccinations you've already have you can go to your doctor and get a blood test that will show what you've already had and you can take a print out of this to your medical as proof of vaccination. If you're missing any too it would be cheaper to get them from your regular doctor before the medical. I know there's a link with the list of vaccinations you'll need but i can't remember where it is...i'll try and find it. Off the top of my head though i think you'll need MMR, Tdap, Varicella, if it's flu season you'll need the flu shot. it wasn't flu season in US when i had my medical but i got one anyway because i heard of some people having to get there flu shot when they are in US because when they filed AOS it was flu season here. there's a few more but i can't think what they are right now.

1. The instructions for p3 (mentioned in the link above) explain fingerprint check.

2. The panel physician will tell you. Basically you need varicella (chicken pox history or the shots), MMR, tdap (tetanus, diptheria, acellular pertusis), possibly flu if it's the season for it.

3. You could complete all the forms, but they are occasionally updated. You could also do the medical and police check but you would be better off waiting till around 3-4 months from your NOA1 so that you don't run the risk of them expiring. Call the panel physician in your area (link in the link above) to find out whether they need your case number for you to do the medical (which you won't get until you get your NOA2 and your file is sent to NVC and they send you a letter)

Your fiance needs to complete the I-134. The instructions state bank letter and employment letter. You do not need tax returns for it, it's not in the requirements, but many people show them. He technically only needs the last tax year. By the time you get the NOA2 it will probably be after April 15, which is when the next tax year would be required. He should file his taxes as soon as he is able so that he can order an IRS transcript asap.

This is the immunisation list from USCIS: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=3384cc5222ff5210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=6abe6d26d17df110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD

This is the chart they use to determine what you need for your age: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/schedules/downloads/adult/mmwr-adult-schedule.pdf (ignore HPV and Zoster as they aren't on the USCIS list of requirements for immigrants anymore)
