my fiancee went to interview today in juarez mexico with my step daughter all went well...she called me with the great news she got accepted and told me the story how everything went at that point im we aRE jumping for joy but shortly after the consulate called me and im in the us...and told me she had to return to consul but didnt tell me why...i called right away cause she was just about to leave juarez....can any body help me on this on maybe what could be the problem? or if something similar has happened???please help :angry:

It could have been a test, to see if you were really in contact with her etc. Could be they forgot to take their passports. Could just be they forgot something. I wouldn't worry too much until you hear back from them.

There are several reasons for this, like the stated above. This might be the obvious question, but did they keep their passports? If yes, then that's usually a good sign. If not, then that's probably why they called.

-AP/EAD combo card processed at Vermont, approved in 86 days. Approved on 3/22/2012; Card Received 3/30/2012

-GC processed at Vermont, approved in 268 days. Approved on 9/20/2012; Card Received on 9/26/2012

08/30/2014: Sent package to Lockbox

09/02/2014: Package Received in Chicago

09/05/2014: Received NOA1 (Extension letter for 1 year)

11/30/2014: Called USCIS, Biometrics appointment not received yet. Appointment letter never delivered to correct address.

12/05/2014: Finally receive Biometrics appointment letter in the mail.

12/30/2014: Biometrics taken in El Paso, Texas ASC

05/08/2015: Approval notice received by email and text

05/10/2015: Approval notice received by mail

05/15/2015: GC in hand

Could be something simple like they forgot to ask for a signature on a page or lost the passport photos etc,

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

sorry i got back to you guys kinda late but gooood news shes approved...the reason why she got called back a couple of reasons??? she didnt sign her intent letter..and they didnt collect her ds-156...i was totllay surprised when they called me i swear i just got off the phone with her..when i called and told her she had to go back...she thought i was kidding..today was an emontional roller coaster but then again this whole process has its ups and downs but today really was the cherry on the cake..thank you guys for ur input ur answers and ur time..she will be home soon..now to get prepared for part 2...but first a honey moon break :P:lol::no:
