Exactly my thought. I truly believe this good-for-nothing believes he can continue to use her. What a #######!

Well it appears she is not so innocent as well....

She is from Tunisa and married a Canadian for residency & never lived with him

When my husband's time ran out in Canada, This was an arrangement made though my husband's Arabic friends in Canada & Egypt.

She was granted a divorce one to two weeks before her and my husband applied for "civil Union" visa with Canada....coincidence??????

Also falsying documents saying they have lived together for more than two years and did I mention they racked up bills in my name...Hydro Bell Canada & Internet??

Supposedly married Islam in a mosque but both LIED on documents stating not married before! Just lovely!!! People can be so selfish

Yes I have crappy feelings but my goal right now is to get my name and association with them

totally removed and they answer to their own actionsnot me!!! Why oh Why do I have to defend myself with

the officials when I have done NOTHING wrong!!! This can ruin me with my new job!!!!!!

I'm sorry for all this mess. You MUST get a divorce. You can turn them in and report them all you want, but you're still associated with this ####### because you're still married to this parasite. Plus, isn't that bigamy? So they married and lied in all these documents, but he's still married to you?

I really wish you the best!

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

Go to the clerk of the court where divorce paperwork is filed.

Ask about 'notification by publication' and/or 'waiver to appear'.

The first not require his signature, the 2nd does.

Now, they might fuss and fume about 'not to give you advice ' but be focused on 'I need to know which templates to use when filing for divorce and only you can tell me this, it's your templates in use'.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

are you certain he needs to sign anything?

see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_divorce_law

in the uncontested divorce section.

Also study the links at the very bottom of the page pushing you to nystate supreme court.

Yes you can. Talk to a lawyer. Tell him you've hired a lawyer and he can either sign the papers or battle it with fraud accusation over his head.

Good luck~

For what is is worth I just want to put it out there that

I do NOT hate my husband...(yes husband..he will not sign divorce papers)

I have love in my heart for him, our marriage and all that he was to me for the

five years BEFORE he found US appeal could take 26 months and his time in Canada was over.

He never cheated (as far as I know) never treated me ill and always gave me respect.... UNTIL...

"His desperation to not be returned to as supposed horrid conditions of a home country"

My despair of course was and is being without him and being replaced AND

THE ACTIONS OF HIM AND THE NEW WOMAN!! THEY COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE HANDLED THINGS DIFFERENTLY

I was always a good person and did not deserve the actions they have chosen!

I do not deserve the humiliation, hurt, and devastation they have caused me.

No matter what there is ALWAYS ALWAYS a right and wrong way to do things!

I spent many many hours, months of paperwork and time correcting the wrong choices my husband

made in the past and just when it was about to count it was dismissed and abandoned!

I believe They, as everyone, will someday answer to higher for their choices and actions..

For now, I merely want the right thing done on my side and to protect myself and my job!

I am sure some will think me naive or something but I assure you I am an educated and well lived

individual who did not jump into this and did not or does not have blinders on... I simply went with my

heart and found love.. Now my head says to protect my heart and being so that I may once again love.

Thank you all for your responses and advise and even opinions (whether good or bad) none of it goes

unappreciated. I will no longer take a blind eye and just let what is meant to be for them...

Today I take a stand for my well being, my heart and my future!

Thank you all so very much for listening!

God Bless

Felicia

You are a better person than I am. I would not be so forgiving if someone did that to me. I hope you find a way to clear your name. I really believe what goes around comes around so eventually what he has done will catch up with him. Good luck.

I'm saddened that this happened to you. It's a shame that people can do this to others that are good to them. I commend you for your effort in taking back your life. Don't give up and explore every option in getting rid of this guy and his obvious baggage. Some people here have given you some great advice already. It's a shame. People like him give others a bad name.
