interview question for a minor

Does anyone know if you sent out a i-130 for a step child does he or she have to present at the interview since they will have the same interview date as my spouse? :wacko: Thanks for your help

of course, children have to go to inteviews just like adults do. they can ask if they can have it together if they have it scheduled at different hours.

As far as I know, if one is part of the petition, its a must to show up at the embassy for an interview - regardless of age.

As far as I know, if one is part of the petition, its a must to show up at the embassy for an interview - regardless of age.

:thumbs: The minor was given an interview date and time so he/ she is expected to attend.

Yes. They may not actually ask the child questions, depending on how old s/he is, but in almost all consulates, they want the child to be present, take finger prints etc.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
