My interview appointment

Hello everyone,

I had my interview appointment 2 weeks ago and I finally got my greencard! My wife and I are so happy right now :D

Anyways, here is what the interviewer asked, we were not separated:

First thing he did was he asked for our ID and made sure everything was spelled correctly and the information was correct

2. When did you get married?

3. How did you meet?

4. (To my wife) When did you know that your husband was out of status?

5 . (To my wife) Who suggested to petition your husband?

6. (To my wife) Why did you petition your husband?

My wife forgot about some stuff, and I had to correct her. She was really nervous. Based on that, I had to answer some few additional question. These question was very easy to answer. (just be honest)

Then he told us, he believed this marriage was not real, so he asked some proof of our marriage.

We showed him our photos, lease and bank statements. After he saw them all, he asked few question about the pictures and smiled a bit.

He took a few photos and asked me some other questions, which were basic questions like Have I ever been in a crime and etc...

He asked me to leave the office as he wanted to talk to my wife alone...

5 minutes later, my wife came out of his office smiling..

My wife said to me that the reason why he asked me to leave the office was to scare me. After I left, the interviewer told my wife that he still believe this marriage is not real and told her that I am using her (how dare he!). He said he is going to approve and give me a 2 year green card. He also said if we had been married for more than 2 years, I would have gotten a 10 year green card.

One week later, green card! My wife and I are so happy :D We can finally start our real life together :D
