questions regarding upcoming interview

My wife will have her CR1 visa interview on February 1 in Manila. I am looking at the information from the Embassy. It says:

IMPORTANT:

You must call the U.S. Embassy in Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or visit this website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph to register your designated delivery address.

Do we really need to register the delivery address before the interview? I thought we were to give to the delivery address to the courier service while at the Embassy for the interview.

The letter I received also says what documents to bring to the interview. Many of these documents were already submitted to the NVC so the Embassy should have the documents at the interview. Do we need to bring another copy of the documents that we already submitted?

Thanks.

You must select a delivery address for your passport's return prior to scheduling your immigrant visa interview appointment. When you select your document delivery address, be sure to have the Immigrant Case Number shown in the U.S. Embassy/Consulate notification letter. If your visa application is approved, 2Go will return your passport and visa to you at the address or pick-up location you selected when you scheduled your interview. Your passport will be delivered only to the address you specified when you scheduled your visa interview. There are no extra fees associated with this service.

Yes. You will need to bring all documents listed on the letter.

For the interview, bring:

1. Original marriage documents, translations and certifications.

2. Formal, long form birth certificate.

3. Copies of any divorce records or death decrees of former SO(s).

4. Passport, with an expiration date of no earlier than 6 months. Try to have more than 6 months before expiration.

5. Police certificate with "Nothing" written on it, indicating no criminal record

6. Fingerprints (consulate will instruct you regarding how, when and where these will be taken). There is a fee for this.

7. Medical exam results (consulate will instruct you regarding how, when and where this will be taken). There is a fee for this. Make sure you get a copy from the medical examiner.

8. Passport type photos of each of you. (consulate will instruct you regarding these)

Thanks, when looking at the site to add the delivery address it asks for the priority date. Do you know which date that would be? Is that the interview date?

priority date is listed in the NOA-1.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
