NEW Nicaraguan Number in USA

I doubt there are many Nicaraguans around this forum, but if there are, there is a new telephone service developed by an acquaintance of mine. It consists on having a virtual Nicaraguan phone number in the U.S. While there are many people that prefer to use MagicJack or other VOIP services, there are others whose relatives back home don't have access to internet or a computer 24/7. For those, this service seems to be very helpful since your relatives will be calling a local Nica number and you will be receiving the calls on your cell phone or land line here in the States. This is the website if anyone is interested:

No problem. I signed up and already received about 5 calls from my Nica friends. It works great!

Hi Nica;

this is off the topic... but I need to ask!!! When you were issued the visa in Nicaragua, how much time did you have until it expired? and the medical examination, when did that expire? I read this below on the NVC's website...

When Your Visa Is Issued – What You Should Know

How much time do I have to immigrate after my visa is issued?

Review your visa when you receive it and also carefully note its expiration date. You must enter the United States before your visa expires, and before your medical examination results expire.

Hello,

The visa was valid for 6 months but the medical examination I don't remember. I had it done about a month before my interview and they gave me a sealed envelope. I honestly don't remember them telling me when did it expire. I hope that helps. Good luck!

No problem. I would suggest scheduling the medical appointment at least 4-6 weeks before the actual interview.
