Mitt Romney has jumped into a wide lead in the Florida Republican presidential primary. Romney leads with 42%, followed by Newt Gingrich with 25%, Rick Santorum with 9%, and Ron Paul with 8%.

Romney had the backing of 42% of likely Florida Republican primary voters in the poll from the American Research Group. That was well ahead of his closest competitor Newt Gingrich, who was at 25%. Florida's January 31 primary is the site of the next battle after Saturday's South Carolina contest.

Seems like Florida moved their election up so that they could have it before Ron Paul would catch up and win. Will you still send $50 to me because they cheated him out of it?

The date has been set back in September last year. Ron Paul had as much time as any of the other candidates to work towards that date. Are you saying that Ron Paul can't manage towards a long known target date? That would disqualify him from the office he's seeking, wouldn't it?

Is it just me, or does Ron Paul seem like a nervous 76 year-old schoolkid when he speaks?

Even if he had halfway reasonable policy ideas, I couldn't vote for him because he has no presence.
