They should have let Argentina have the place. It probably would have saved them money in the long run.

:bonk: it's easier for spooky to get a visa to visit the sheep there with it under british control than under argentinian control.

Sure, but the people of the Falklands didn't want that, and I believe Thatcher did the right thing here. Perhaps the only thing she did right.

Have you ever looked at the Falklands on a globe or a map? Why is it part of the UK when it's obvious that it should be a part of Argentina.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

A new fighter plane to be used by the United Kingdom and United States has a design flaw that prevents it from landing on aircraft carriers, a Pentagon report has revealed.

Leaked Pentagon documents have revealed that the Joint Strike Fighter's (JSF) arrestor hook, which is used to stop the plane during landing, is located too close to the wheels.

The Pentagon report titled F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Concurrency Quick Look Review also pointed out that the aircraft has failed to make eight simulated landings, and stressed on the need for a ''significant redesign'' of the aircraft.

Moving the arrestor hook, sounds like a straightforward change. I don't see why that would be so complex.

Sure, if you want to use proximity as a model, I would suggest the US hand over Alaska to either Canada or Russia.

You mean Alaska, that part of the North American continent should be sold back to the Russians after they sold it to us to begin with...
