I literally have nightmares where my K-1 petition is rejected. This morning I woke up from one dazed and a little unsure of whether it was real or not. Anyone else?

9/19/11 - sent I-129F

9/21/11 - email NOA1

9/27/11 - hard copy NOA1

3/20/12 - congressional inquiry (6 months since NOA1)

4/4/12 - inquiry result: petition approved (still no NOA2 text/email/letter)

4/20/12 - packet 3 received from embassy

the waiting is just... argh!!

Hopefully it's over soon. I read on the statistics page 2 people filed for I-129F's for Japanese fiances in August 2011 and both are already having interviews this week! They both had NOA2 within ~60 days of submitting.

Meanwhile I haven't heard anything and I filed September 2011. Completely jealous. :P

Ya but what you are leaving out is the man is active military and was granted an expedite. And I WILL NEVER COMPLAIN about our service men and women getting a little extra attention! They deserve it.

I once had a dream that we had gotten our K1 visa. I woke up and realized it was all a dream. :(

Then a couple months later, we got the visa. I waited at least 8 hours after the interview to really accept the news, just in case it was a dream.

Even though I was present in the interview in the Tokyo embassy and was there when the interviewer told us "congratulations you got the visa."
