Hii everyone does any one know if form DS-157 or DS-158 needed for packet (3) to be submitted to the US embassy in Cairo ?? there was no any form such DS-157 neither form DS-158 was included on there packet that we received?? thanks for your advise.

u don't need neither of them. u just need whats mentioned in packet 3 no more forms are required. good luck

Avoid what happened to us at all costs! Fill them out and send them. You can download them in this site. We had to submit them.

They didn't send us DS-230. Once the packet was received by the embassy, they returned it because it was missing DS-230. That delayed us by 2 weeks.

Good luck!

i just send the packet (3) already !! with out these form DS-157/DS-158 because it was not included on the packet they sent to us as well was not listed on this website http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html ..im going to call the Embassy tomorrow to find out !!! any advise did they send you these forms with your packet (3) ????

what ever was written on the packet (3) checklist by them was 2 copy DS-156 /DS-156K/DS-230/I-134 that is all and that was included on the packet as well no form was missing from what they listed ??? plus criminal record/copy from the birth certificate with transaltion/copy from the passport/2 photo ????
