I have searched high and low and called the USCIS several time and have not really gotten anwers that I needed answered more than I have here. The visa guidelines are a Godsend. It is simple to follow with excellent examples to help get your package together. I am slowly putting my fiance and my packet together but I can tell you I could have never gotten as far as I have without the guidelines and tips I've found here. I will be starting my timeline soon and hope it comes to a happy conclusion!

I feel fortunate to have found VJ, too. Thank you, VJ Community! With every question asked we received valuable answers during our K-1 Process. We've also made some new friends here and on Wednesday my fiance and her daughter arrive in Miami! :dance:

It have helped us a lot too putting together the petitition! I have read a lot and searched and found the answers to many of our questions!(some of them really stupid, but they have always been asked before;)

It takes a lot of time putting it togheter but we are almost there! Hope to have it in the mail in about two weeks:)

So great that a lot of people share their journey and advise!

I agree, this site is amazing and a most useful tool, (speaking of tool, out of the many many people I've met on here and received friendship from and advise from I've only come across one 'tool' and he has been on ignore, lol).....Not to mention how much money I saved over using a lawyer, and the time we saved as actually its quicker to do it on your own....Great post, and thanks site owner and mods.

It's a great site. I'm starting to appreciate it more and more each day that I post a question and receive nothing but thoughtful, considered and helpful answers/suggestions.

some answers are not so thoughtful and some posts are just mean, but it keeps things interesting!

It most certainly is... no attorney's fees for us the next time around for ROC :dance:

This site has been fantastic and made the process a lot easier to comprehend which takes a lot of the stress out of it. If we'd found it before we sent the packet I doubt we would have gotten our RFE

I agree completely that this site rocks! I think I cried out of relief when I first stumbled on it. I wish I knew how to make this the first link that pops up in a search engine, because I had been searching for info for MONTHS before I found this. What a waste of time. If I'd have known about frontloading, that could have possibly prevented the RFE that wasted more time. This site is the only place I found, other that individual blogs, that has actual experiences and useful advice.
