hi, I want to know what happens after AP is done and you get clearance. Does that mean you get visa in your next interview when they call you? Can they put you in AP again? please reply me back.

what i know is..after ur ap done they call u and give ur visa.. if everything is done. but its depends on each case.. but most likely they call for the visa after ap done. so far i have seen..or heard

I don't think (not based on experience) there is any such rule as such, so yes you will see people getting their passports with visa on their next interview once AP is cleared. However what you described is possible as well. Even if you get cleared, the interviewer still has the the authority to put one on further processing in case s/he finds anything suspicious. Bottom line is unless you get the visa, nothing is certain. It is sad and horrible, but beyond our control in most cases :-(
