Sorry, but i will open this topic to post my question:

How do you fill up the question on this I-864 form?.. e.i Part1 what should we sign since I`m his fiancee. does it count as a relative[/b] already?

What number is that they ask on Part2 "Alien Registration Number" ..

I`m confused because i thought I would send this form only on AOS, not now applying for k1. Thanks for helping. My interview is going to be in Montreal.

for K1 the affidavit of support is the i134. the i864 will be for adjustment of status once you marry.

Yes, I thought it was that too, but on the check list for the Interview, Montreal requires I-864 together with all the financial support, unless I`ve seen the wrong one.. thats why i got confused and want to know if anyone here that had interview in Montreal showed this form or not. Please help!

Take a look at this link please is the check list for the interview :

http://montreal.usco...a_checklist.pdf

Affidavit of support (I-134) (for fiancé, employment and DV visas)

Evidence of support (I-864, Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year)

it means that the evidence of support you require is the same as that used for the I-864.

The checklist is for both K1s and IR1/CR1s. It's a bit confusing that way, but rest assured as a K1 you DO NOT need the 864- that is for AOS and for IR1/CR1s. Instead, you will fill out the I-134, which is similar. It'd be really helpful if Montreal would distinguish that for applicants but they don't. :/

Here is a guide for K1s going through Montreal: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/327503-k1-guide-montreal/

I had my K1 interview in Montreal in August and brought the I-134 and was approved.

You will need at least the three most recent tax returns or tax transcripts of the USC. I suggest you get extra copies because you will need them again when you adjust status. If you bring tax returns make sure you bring photocopies of them including the W2 because Montreal wants to keep copies of it.

You're time line is not active, so I will assume you are really K-1, see the guides here, follow the check list and compare it to what the embassy wants. Separate the interview stuff from the I129f filing, and AOS, a fiancée is not a relative, except in you're heart. On your I129f you will eventually do a I134 for support, later you will complete the I864 which is a binding document. I Hope that helps.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
