We are prepare to file AOS for my fiancee. I have read the guide on visa journey, but I still had few questions.

G325a - do we send one for each for us, or just the person applying for AOS?

Initial Evidence - do we send other evidence of bonafied marriage such as utility bills, credit cards bills, banks, insurance, driver license, etc etc with intial AOS package? I wasn't sure if we send those stuff in now, or take it with us during interview.

Marriage Certificate? Does it have to be certified copy? What if we send regular copy now, and just wait for RFE since it will take a while before we can get certified copy.

Its $1065 for everything right? Including 485, 131, 765?

Thanks a lot.

- Only the person applying for AOS.

- You can send some but it is not really necessary.

Marriage Certificate? Does it have to be certified copy? What if we send regular copy now, and just wait for RFE since it will take a while before we can get certified copy.

- Most threads here I had read are sending a copy rather than a certified one. We sent a certified one as we have enough certified copies.

Its $1065 for everything right? Including 485, 131, 765?

- It is $1070.

Thanks a lot.

AOS is for the immigrant. The only things needed from the USC spouse are the I-864 and documents that go with it.

The only evidence of your marriage you send in is the copy of your certified marriage certificate. You will bring the co-mingling evidence with you to your interview, if you even have one.

I do not know what you mean by a regular copy because you have to wait for a certified one? After you are married your marriage license is filed with the court and after it is recorded and on file with the court you can get certified copies of your marriage certificate. The wait to be able to get the marriage certificate from the court is usually not that long, from a few days to a couple weeks. Some states take longer. The only thing that is accepted by USCIS is a copy of the certified marriage certificate from the court.

The fee is $1070. It is listed in the I-485 instructions: $985 filing fee + $85 biometrics fee.
