I would like to know if a 2year Conditional GC holder can go back to school under grants/financial aide due to high tution cost? And what impact does this has,if there are any on R.O.C and becoming a citizen in near future? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you're allowed. I just arrived in the US last May as a 2 year conditional GC holder and applied for FAFSA in the summer as I planned to go back to college for the fall semester. I was accepted for financial aid without any problems.

Ya, study the FAFSA requirements. They be the 'governing body' for 'who's eligible' .

Financial aid is not a means tested benefit. You can receive it. It does not impact the Affidavit of Support.
