I am a Nigerian living in Ghana and I do not have a residence permit. We have already filled in the petition and still waiting on NOA2. My finace came down to ghana and we've also visited Nigeria together... My question, Is it a must I have a residence permit in Ghana before the interview date? If yes, does anyone knows the process.

Thanks in Advance

Please fix your information, looks like you applied for K1 visa. You will get a NOPA2 approval and your packet will go or processing. Are you there illegally?

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

You must be a legal resident of the country you are interviewing in . So yes you must be a resident of Ghana if you wish to interview there. Have you tried looking at the Ghana embassy site ( for Nigeria or the US maybe ) to see what they say about redident visas ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
