IO did not ask us about home ownership, we had tons of documents, she seemed to go on what we had submitted, and asked for limited follow-up stuff. You can add COSTCO / SAMS, AAA auto insurance, Debit card etc. You might get more questions being lots younger than us. Best of Luck, looks like you are organized, and doing well for a young couple.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I don't think you will have a problem. You seem to have everything in order. My nephew and his wife were married at your age and didn't have all that you have. She was under the poverty guideline and had to use a sponsor, had no life insurance, and was living at her mom's home. I guess they saw that it was the innocence of young-love because they didn't have much proof. Everything went smoothly and in less than a year he entered the navy, got immediate citizenship and has petitioned for his mom and dad. You are doing well. All the best and keep us posted.

In my first marriage, I was only 19 - my ex-husband was 21. I don't think age can legally be factored into the decision, much less where you live. For my interview coming up (married again, to another fellow countryman), I printed out phone records showing that we speak to each other a million times a day, and also pictures from the last two years that we've been dating - it may also help. I think you will do great, good luck.

Hi everybody

My wife and I have our interview on the 24th of this month, we are quite nervous about it we are very young (wonder if this will be an issue) im 19 and she's 18 we met in high school 3years ago.

so far here's what we have

she's beneficiary on my life insurance

same address on our id's

2 affidavits from friends

valentines' day cards and wedding cards from friends

we share an apartment with my sister and the lease is under her name we are wondering if we should have her write a letter for us.

any tips would be very helpful thanks!

Go ahead and get another affidavit from your sister stating that you live with her and the lease is in her name. It will show why you do not have a joint lease just in case they ask you about one. The rest of your evidence looks good. Any wedding photos you could bring as well? Also, bring a copy of everything you sent in and the originals of the important documents you sent in copies of, such as the marriage certificate and birth certificates.

Hi, what did your friends write in their affidavit? I think we will need it too but we are not sure what is the right way to write it.. We would really appreciate it if you can give us an example or guidelines.. I wish you all the luck at the interview!!!

They would write how they know you guys, and state that your relationship is in good will, good faith. Sign, DOB, Address, Phone number and notarized.
