It depends on why you are in AP. If it is security checks, all you can do is wait. If it is lack of bonafides, and they gave you a paper requesting more proof then definitely, contact them and ask to submit the extra prof.

Why do they want to call your family members? What you said to them so that couldn't proof the bonafide marriage?

I've never heard of anyone being granted a second interview once they were placed into AP. AP is administrative processing for a reason, the CO takes the time to investigate your case further after the interview and examine the evidence you have already submitted. If you were asked to provide additional documents post-interview that you should have submitted them already. Hopefully you informed your families about the possibility of a phone call so that they were prepared to speak of your relationship.

I hope that your AP clears quickly.

I am the petitioner.

depends on whether or not you have a second interview.

At most points along the way - you really not have any inputs INTO the AP process.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Sounds like a field investigation of some sort was done.. whether they called their phones from the office or actually visited the family... it sounds like the sister told the CO they were not married but 4 other family members told him they were.

ya, that's what I got out of it, as well.

Come on - 80 percent married isn't all that bad, right ?

1. I agree with "Canadian in GA", a full word in sentence will help or easy to grasp what you are telling us?

2. I agree with "EAbass", there can be a field investigation... answer your's phone when they call...

3. It is very common for CO from Embassy to call people on guest list (you must have submitted her name in the guest list)

OR they can call other people and get your sister's family phone and called them.

ADVICE - Please don't give your siblings number if they are angry with you, their responses to the CO questions can make do or die decision on CO part.... I hope on one else is mad with you and has their name on the guest list.

I have no info about your case, every case is different... I apologize if you don't like my response.

It is unlikely that you will get a second interview if you are in AP, Embassy will contact you... :star:
