How long does it take before the Embassy will make contact to pickup packet 3? We keep calling and they say that they will call. It will be a month soon that they received paperwork from NVC.

The Flow Chart on this site says that it should take 1-4 weeks to go from the NVC to the Embassy. I've seen, however, that it takes some people 5 or 6 weeks.

Thanks, it didnt take long for NVC to send to the Embassy, was wondering how long does it take for the Embassy to contact you with packet 3?

It'll vary with each Embassy. Ours was a week and a half from leaving NVC to him receiving Packet 3. Some places may take longer.

Oh that was very quick.. we are still waiting. Hope we can obtain the packet soon. Have you had your interview scheduled?

Not yet. My fiance needs to send in his packet 3. He has most of the paperwork on his end. He's waiting in the mail for my financial information and he needs to get his medical exam completed. But he has confirmed with the Embassy that he'd be able to go his capital, complete the medical exam, and get the interview the following day. We're almost there.

It is sounding very positive on your side. Big we keep checking nothing yet. hoping something soon. Dont want to miss the approval time frame. It was mentioned that it will be extended by the Embassy. Hope that is the case.
