on aug 31 uscis recieved our packet and i checked today online it says it in initial review stage so what does this mean it has been quite awhile now ? it is saying last time touched is the same date .

ok on 8-31-11 packet was recieved

bio appt noa 9-7-11

bio appt 9-26-11

checked the status online and says 8-31 was last reviewed

we havent got anything in mail or email nothing .

Oh there there, don't worry just wait. I have mine submitted since June and it's still "received" on my end.

They are painfully slow to most of us, or hey if you are lucky, you might get it approved tomorrow. Really depends how they feels about you know, everything.

I'm surprised by the OP. This entire Removal of Conditions forum is devoted to tracking approvals month by month. Being a July VCS filer, our thread indicates that not even one filer for that service center has been approved, so it's obviously a long wait ahead.

I dont understand it ,has anyone been approved ?? biggest thing is according to uscis site they havent touched it since they got it !!

That is correct. Not a single VSC (Vermont Service Center) filer from July 2011 has been approved yet. And if you check on the May and June threads, you'll see that a majority of them have not as well.

The online status is not likely to change whatsoever until approval and even then you sometimes receive a letter and/or Green Card without it even being updated online.

If you filed with VSC, you may be waiting at least two more months or even longer.
