Concurrent Filing Rejected

I pulled this from another post I made:

{

Hey, I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but I just received an I-797C notice of rejection

I had a feeling it was going to be rejected, but for different reasons. I had originally and unknowingly sent my wife's G-325A with white out on it. Although this wasn't the reason for the rejection, keep it in my mind going forward with this post.

I sent a concurrent filing of the I-130 and the I-485 to the Chicago Lockbox. I heard from sources that you can do this all in one shot and get it processed faster in this manner. But I made a mistake on the I-485: I used my wife's address from Mongolia; they rejected it for the reason that a non-US address was used.

The good news is that I got all my stuff back and now I can send another packet with a better G-325. The question is: Do I send another concurrent filing with the corrections, or do I just file an I-130 instead? To make matters more complicated, they sent me a green paper of the rejection, instructing me to place it on top of my packet so that it merits special consideration. Even if I wanted to send just the I-130, I have concerns that they will balk at the fact that there is no associated I-485 to go along with it. But I really did not like the fact that my I-130 automatically got rejected because of a mistake I made on the I-485, although this might support the fact that they do process them together at the same time.

So do I fix the mistake and send it out again with cleaner documents(white out mistake), or do I send the I-130 alone so I can get this process started at least? Should I send them an email about what I detailed here? I guess my biggest fear is another rejection of my I-130 due to some problem with the I-485.

Thank you for all your advice in advance!

}

Should I just send the I-130 out again, but with a K-3 visa application as well?

I am liking the fact that this might bring my wife to the US sooner, what I am worried about is any new filing that might take some time to complete; this is why I am pleading to you guys with more experience.

Will sending a K-3 visa be a waste of time, or will it bring my wife here sooner than just sending out the I-130 alone?

I have heard that K-3 visas are no longer useful and that regular processes are faster. But considering there is a whole forum still dedicated to this process, I was just wondering what your thoughts were.

Thanks so much in advance!

What are you trying to do? it sounds like you are confused.

If your wife is living in the USA you could do concurrent filing but if she is not living in the USA then you cannot do it.

Are you trying to file for a spousal visa? if yes then no you don't do a concurrent filing of I-130 and I-485.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Yeah, I immediately realized that the concurrent filing was a mistake; I am not going to do it again.

I am asking if K-3 visa is a good idea, compared to sending the I-130 alone. Others have said that the K3 was worthless since regular processing of the I-130 is faster. I just wanted to come here and find out if that criticism had any merit or not.

Also, a bit off-topic: Is there any way I can send in my wife's G-325 without her having to send it to me first by mail? Is it okay to just send a print-out of it, or do they absolutely have to see the ink of the signature on the paper?

Thank you for any help you can provide me.

No the K-3 is a huge waste of time and money. Stay with the I-130 for CR-1 it will be faster and less expensive.

Alright, thanks for that. I was just wondering why there is still recent activity on this forum.

Most of the activity in this forum is either misplaced or is about why to forget about the K3.
