Hi all,

I know the change of address topic has been posted many times before, but lots of threads have different opinions so hoping for a little clarification.

Let me explain my situation. My fiancee is the USC and we submitted the I-129f last August. Judging by other peoples timelines we're expecting our NOA2 in a few weeks time maybe. When we sent the paperwork I was living at home in Dublin, Ireland however I have recently moved to Luxembourg for work. I have only just managed to secure a permanent address here, so have been looking into how to change my address with USCIS and also change the consulate that will be processing my application (I believe Brussels serves Luxembourg).

As we are relatively close to our NOA2 (we hope) will I have time to process the change of address with them? Or is there a better option such as getting in touch with the NVC or the consulates themselves?

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I'm hoping thats not the case. While I'd have no problem with going back to Dublin for the interview etc, the fact that you don't get your passport back straight away would be a problem.
