Great informations GandK! Did you compute the average processing time by yourself? I don't see it on the USCIS dashboard website.

If we compare with the trend curve from timelines on VJ, it seems pretty similar. That's great, even the small proportion of petitions on VJ gives an accurate trend… :)

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

Yes I computed the number myself

USCIS just released new data for November 2011. The new data does confirm the trend, CSC is gearing up in speed (the green bars) good.gif

For those who filed 129F back in july-august, you were unlucky to be in the slowest part of the annual cycle (right before CSC slowed down a lot). The good news is your wait will be over very soon.

For those who just filed 1-2 months ago, you are on an accelerating roller coaster. You will not have to wait as long as the unfortunate july-august filers, you can expect 3 - 5 months waiting time yes.gif

I called today (not having been on this site recently to read what others have written) and was told there is a back log at CSC, to be patient, nothing more to do at this time, etc. The last time I looked at this site, I felt sad/anxious and stopped reading because I was overwhelmed by everyone's situations, responses from these institutions, etc. I got back from Jamaica last night and decided I would call today since I am at 5 months. Now, here I sit reading and not feeling as alone as I have been. SIGH!!! What else to do?

In the mean time, I have gotten everything else together that is needed when the time comes. How does everyone stay sane?

How often should CSC be contacted?

We've spent the time getting stuff for interview, investigating cost of shipping goods, playing games, chatting, etc etc.. it's hard as I am checking every day.. every... day. some days I'm crankier about it than others but when I am he cheers me up =) It is a very frustrating process. However, exactly 30 days from my last response from my Congressman, I am putting in a service request as not only are they seriously backed up, but not responding to the RFE within their 60 day timeline means I can do that.. May not accomplish much other than a nod that another visa app is impatient but at least I get to them to look up what's going on, even if it is just to tell me to wait even more...

I know this may seem a silly question but what is a touch? Is it simply when we contact the agency? Thanks from the newbie.

The statistics are from the USCIS website https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

click on view national volumes and trends for all application link in the bottom.

The numbers are computed by me using simple numerical methods really.

Some interesting statistics for CSC in January 2012

VJ's CSC processing date is now only 4 weeks behind VSC. It used to be over 5 weeks.

The average processing time for CSC also went from the peak 164 days to 150 days now.

Looking at the annual trend, I think CSC will be as far or ahead of VSC in late march/April 2012.

6 months 10+ days and waiting for NOA2. The published trends here http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=2&charttype=1 do not reflect any data after Nov 2011. CSC still insists they are processing these I-130 (IR) within 5 months. The delay is outrageous, but it would surely help if they let us know what dates they are currently processing. No updates of processing data since Nov 2011 is just disturbingly apathetic on their part. Anyone out there with any info on what's going on?

07/18/2011 - mailed out I-130

07/20/2011 - I-30 NOA1

Don't know what is going on at CSC for I-130 but I can see that their case completion rate has been below new cases receipt rate since August 2011. Their pace has been going down since August, this means continuing increase of backlog and processing time and it is not going to speed up any time soon...

The data for December 2011 should be published online in about 2-3 weeks
